New Delhi: Heavy rain lashed several parts of Delhi-NCR on Monday, affecting traffic and slowing vehicular movement across multiple areas of the National Capital Region. Intense showers were reported in parts of South Delhi and adjoining areas. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a red alert for some districts and warned of more heavy rainfall.
