Chandigarh: Despite severe heatwave conditions and rising temperatures across Haryana, water coolers at several public places remain non-functional. In many locations, garbage and dirt have accumulated around the water coolers, while bus stands, parks and major markets lack proper arrangements for drinking water. The maximum temperature in the state is currently running 4.2 degrees Celsius.
