The Uttar Pradesh government has announced a two-day public holiday on March 26 and 27 on the occasion of Ram Navami. The decision was taken considering the large number of devotees expected to participate in religious events across the state. Earlier, only March 26 was declared a holiday, but the government extended it to March.
