A yellow alert for rain has been issued in 5 districts of Himachal Pradesh today. According to the Meteorological Department, Una, Hamirpur, Kangra, Mandi, and Sirmaur districts may receive rain today.
Before the entry of monsoon in Himachal Pradesh, heavy rains have been falling in many parts since morning. After heavy rains in Badsar of Hamirpur, the fields and barns were filled with water.
The heat wave will increase in Himachal Pradesh today and tomorrow. The Meteorological Department has warned of heatwave in Una, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi and Sirmaur districts for the next 48 hours.
