A major success has been achieved in the war against drugs in Punjab. The Amritsar Commissionerate Police has busted an international drug network in collaboration with the Border Security Force and the Rajasthan Police.
In a major intelligence-based operation, Amritsar Rural Police in Punjab apprehended two persons suspected of espionage activities linked to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
Acting on intelligence input, Amritsar Rural Police has busted an international criminal network. In this action, the police recovered 8 sophisticated foreign pistols during a blockade. This operation was carried out on the link road between village Barar and Kohala. According to the information released by DGP Gaurav Yadav, the police team stopped 3 persons.
Punjab Police Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) have caught the culprits of the Tarn Taran Firing Incident. AGTF officials said that they arrested two accused but one is a juvenile. Punjab Police DGP Gaurav Yadav also shared the information on his social media handle and said that in a breakthrough, Anti-Gangster Task Force Punjab apprehended Ajaydeep.
Chandigarh: Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Gaurav Yadav on Monday said that Punjab Police will not allow anyone to disturb the hard-earned peace and harmony of the State. Speaking with the reporters DGP Gaurav Yadav said that intelligence inputs have also indicated that the campaign’s success has rattled Pakistan’s-ISI, which is now devising strategies.
