The Union Home Ministry has granted permission to the ED to prosecute Kejriwal under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) for alleged money laundering connected to the 2021-22 liquor scam case.
New Delhi: Manish Sisodia, the former Deputy Chief Minister, expressed that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is brimming with confidence ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is struggling to find its footing. Speaking to IANS, Sisodia noted that under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal, AAP is poised to challenge.
A bench of justices BR Gavai and KV Viswanathan said that it would hear the matter the day after tomorrow after senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi mentioned the plea before it.
The Rouse Avenue court on Saturday reserved the regular bail pleas of former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. He has sought regular bail in CBI and ED cases related to the Delhi Excise Policy case.
