Chandigarh: The Punjab Police on Friday arrested Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) woman leader Kanchanpreet Kaur in connection with FIR No. 208/25 registered at Chabal. The arrest has been made under the sections invoked in the said case. Kanchanpreet Kaur, daughter of Sukhwinder Kaur Randhawa—who is the Shiromani Akali Dal candidate in the Tarn Taran byelection—appeared.
